Evolutive Computing and Artificial life

Introduction

This course deals with relevant aspects to the project firstly initiated by Karl Sims and redefined and free coded by Thomas Miconi where in a enviroment of realistic physics, creatures are created and evolved to acomplish different goals.

In this project many aspects of the artificial inteligence discipline are involved divided in three defined areas: evolutive computing, artificial life and virtual enviroments. The union of these knowledge branchs make this project especially usefull to get many ideas and concepts of the artificial life. Source code is included and instructions for stablishing the enviroment are also avaliable. Same way, documentation needed to learn many concepts on the different areas needed to understand the project are included. The main objective is to make possible an easy access to anything needed to learn from this project.
